The idea for Battle in the Saddle was born by a couple of men who love to go to barrel racing events and watching their kids compete. Watching families and fellowship together while watching friendships form. There are however those that do not have that opportunity. Those that are homeless, hungry and have nowhere to go. Safe Harbor is a place of refuge, a place to start over. Many have been called into this unique church including the homeless and addicted, and it has grown to five affiliate churches collectively overseeing over 400 beds and six recovery support facilities in two states; serving over 2500 people a year. To date, Lighthouse has served thousands, hundreds of whom are faithful believers in Christ who remain sober, independent, and self-supporting; some of whom have gone on to full-time ministry.

This Barrel racing Fundraiser will help provide meals and much more for these people. We look forward to great events full of fellowship and barrel racing.
